The Alchemy of Love
We all long for Divine Union, the seamless mixing of sovereign souls...
...but most of us don't know that this sacred union is Alchemy Level TWO! There's a foundational training that makes it actually work!
If you want a sacred union of Sun and Moon, you have to create the alchemical vessel, and that is the work of harmonizing the four seasons, which my partner and I will teach on THIS SATURDAY! It's what primes the "soul" to be a "soul mate".
If only they'd told me years ago that "soul mates" is not something you are, but something you become through inner Work, it would have saved me a LOT of trouble!
In ancient alchemy, the practice of union of the King and Queen, Sun and Moon, Red and White elements, or Fire and Water is an advanced formula of harmonizing the polarities within one into a dynamic source of spiritual energy.
Outer relationships are an aspect of that inner alchemy. According to tradition, we find our opposite in another person and we utilize the dynamic energy that comes from harmonizing with them as fuel for our spiritual growth. This is to Soul Mate - if "mate" is a verb. We're actively matching our deepest essences to one another as an act of radiant openness.. This then helps facilitate the inner harmonization of divine opposites as expressed through alchemical formulae such as the Fusion of Kan and Li in Daoist practice.
Most of us sense this possible inner union intuitively, and it is this spiritual impulse that draws us toward love. Unfortunately, we are not informed as to how the process unfolds, and especially, that there are preliminaries. We jump straight into the calculus of love without having learned the basic arithmetic!
Before the union of the Sun and Moon, there comes the fusion of the Five Elements, or the Four Seasons. These are the diverse forces of our physical and emotional lives that take us up or down, out or in in flights of optimism, or descents of "realism", bouts of inspiration, and bouts of withdrawal.
The harmony of these forces is what creates the inner "Sovereign" who attains union in higher alchemies. Before that, the wisdom traditions speak of us as being incomplete or partial - because if we cannot fuse these inner energies into the One, then we're constantly being thrown about by these seasonal forces. The inner sovereign is characterized by their capacity for CHOICE, and like the idealized King or Queen, the choices they make are for the benefit of ALL - radiating out from them as a Source. it's not that we don't need each other, but more that we're coming to the relationship from a place of wholeness within.
Imagine two people in this radiant orientation coming together to harmonize their diversity into a higher UNION! The world could only be blessed by having more such partnerships on planet earth!
If your attempted soul matings haven't yet created harmonious and radiant unities, do not despair! Most of us simply are attempting to jump ahead a level, and do the great Work out of order. It doesn't mean there's something wrong with us, we're in no way "lesser" or innately "unlucky in love". It's simply that we're trying to run before we learn to walk - we're obviously going to FALL (in love)!
We've gotten only a partial picture from the fairy tales handed down to us. These teaching stories are meant to give a glimpse into the mythic realm of our souls, but without the mystery teachings that accompany them, they leave us with unrealistic expectations!
