Advanced Inner Alchemy
1-day workshop, Dec 12, 10:30-5:30
Alchemy is the art of transforming base materials into resources. You could even say "trash into treasure." In this daylong course, we'll explore the ancient science of alchemy from the perspective of Daoism and Qigong.
Learn to extract the nourishing energies of life!
Daoist inner alchemy operates through an understanding of the "Five Elements," a poetic and symbolic way of understanding the energies available to us in every experience.
In this course, we'll take a deep dive into the symbolism and correspondences of these five elements and work with practices meant to transform the unrefined and afflicted states of these energies into their refined and resourceful states - and gather this power as a type of nourishment for the mind and inner body.
